v3.0.0 21 October 2026

A new bridge

STARNAV 2002 becomes a chart you fly from, every screen is customizable, and the whole game shares one design.

Big Bang Smugglers 3.0 rebuilds every screen around one look, lets you lay out your own bridge, and turns STARNAV 2002 into a chart you fly from.

STARNAV 2002 is a chart now

  • A map that remembers. Every sector you’ve visited, swept, scanned or bought intel on stays on your chart, drawn on the galaxy’s real grid, with how long ago you saw it.
  • Fly from the map. Tap any sector for one card with everything your chart knows and what you can do from there: move, warp, plan a route, peek, scan, star, tag, note, drop a beacon or take a wormhole. Every button shows its turn cost.
  • See who holds what. The chart colours sectors by control: grey unexplored, green explored, blue where you or your corp hold a planet, port or deployment, red where an enemy did when you last saw it.
  • Every StarNav level lights up a layer. Sweep ring at 1, hazards and mines at 2, ports and prices at 3, ships and cloaks at 4, traffic at 5. The Shipyard now says which layer each level buys.
  • Buy the visit. Docked where intel is sold? Tap any unvisited sector and buy exactly that one for 2,000 cr. It’s marked visited, so you can warp there.
  • Price memory. The chart remembers every price you’ve seen, with its age. Refreshing from the Merchant Exchange’s board updates every port you’ve visited.
  • The Explored list, Favorites, Recent Sectors and the Bridge scanner all live inside the chart now. Search it by sector number, name, note or tag.
  • Sectors you visited before 3.0 are already filled in.

Customize your bridge

  • Hide, move and fold panels on every screen. Long-press a panel’s title, or use Settings › Display › Customize panels for the full editor.
  • Reset one screen or everything with a tap.
  • Your layout is saved to your account, so web and Android match, and it carries across seasons.

Everything looks like one game

  • Every card, sheet and pop-up rebuilt on one design: coloured edges that mean something (gold needs you, red is danger, blue is the Federation, green is money), folding panels, and pages with a back button.
  • New header: your rank and the season and turn clocks on top, a tap-to-expand strip with turns, credits, shields and hull, and your XP bar with the count to the next level.
  • Captain page: tap your name for your stats, trophy case, unlock ladder and mail.
  • Comms › Corp is now your corporation’s home: chat, members, assets and management in one place.
  • Ship is Missions, Stats and Bridge. Stats is six panels, and your bounties and claims live under Standing.
  • Dock replaces the Port and Stations tabs. Ports and trading posts share one services list.
  • Planets: one ownership banner, production on the Overview, grouped structures. Starport places open as pages.
  • Fixed buttons and inputs running off the edge of narrow phones.

Fairness and fixes

  • Forgot your password? Reset it from the sign-in screen.
  • Big trade lots now price at the average stock level across the lot, the same price the trade charges; profit-based trade XP ignores cargo with an unknown cost.
  • Wanted sightings on the bounty board now trail by an hour, and warp routes no longer name sectors you’ve never visited.
  • Other captains’ credits show as a range on their profiles.
  • Sector note saves are rate-limited.
  • Security hardening.
