The platform under the game is completely new: a real-time server core with instant turn resolution, galaxy generation in seconds instead of half-hours, and live game-balance tuning that lets seasons run different rules without app updates. You’ll feel it as speed — everything from moving to trading to combat resolves faster.
The Galaxy, Redesigned
Seventeen game systems were reviewed and rebuilt for 2.0:
- A living market — prices move with real supply and demand at every port. Trade routes are discovered, not memorized.
- The smuggling career — contraband, fences, black-market premiums, customs scans, bribes, and cloaks. High risk, high margin.
- Port capture-and-hold — sieges, garrisons, corp-owned ports that skim taxes, and the fights to take them back.
- Planets and starbases — claim worlds, build a six-structure economy, raise a garrison, and cap it with a starbase.
- Factions with teeth — the Federation, the pirates, and the Merchant Guild track your standing; prices, docking rights, hulls, and arrest warrants follow it.
- A heavier level spine — levels gate ships, structures, and sieges; every XP source matters across a 12-week season.
- Corporations, fleets, and bounties — coordinated strikes, bounty claims redeemed in person at the registry, and a Most Wanted board.

The Fine Print
v1’s web client has retired. The v1 Android app will continue to work briefly but no new seasons will run there — update when prompted. Security hardening and infrastructure improvements ship throughout.
