Delete Your Account

You can delete your Big Bang Smugglers account yourself, from inside the game, at any time.

In the app or on the web (immediate)

1. Sign in at play.bigbangsmugglers.com or in the Android app.
2. Open Settings and scroll to the danger zone.
3. Tap Delete Account and type your captain name to confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately — your login is removed and you are signed out everywhere. This cannot be undone.

One condition: if you currently lead a corporation, you must transfer leadership (or disband the corp) before deleting — the game will tell you if this applies to you.

By email (if you can’t sign in)

Send a request to privacy@bigbangsmugglers.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject Account Deletion Request. Email requests are processed within 7 business days, with a confirmation reply when complete.

What gets deleted

• Your login (Firebase Authentication account — email and/or Google sign-in)
• Your email address and display name
• Notification preferences and push-notification tokens
• Session records and device information
• Any administrative access tied to the account

What is retained (anonymized)

Records of past gameplay are kept with all identifying information removed — the standard anonymized-aggregate practice:

• Season history and statistics (no name, no email — shown as a deleted account)
• Leaderboard and award history in past-season records
• In-game action logs used for game integrity

If your account was banned, an internal record of the ban is retained to prevent ban evasion. It contains no personal information.

Separately, routine server request logs (retained up to 30 days) and crash reports (retained up to 90 days) are not connected to deletion — they age out and purge automatically on those schedules.
